Illinois Football Parking Frequently Asked Questions

Q.     What types of vehicles are allowed to park in “car only” lots?

A.     Cars, minivans, and SUVs will be allowed to park in “car only” lots.  Pull behind trailers of any type (regardless of size), motor homes, bread trucks, buses, or any other oversized vehicle will NOT be allowed in these lots.  If you plan on bringing an oversized vehicle to any game, make sure you request a lot that can accommodate that type of vehicle.

Q.     Can I use my parking pass to park my motor home in Lot 33?

A.     Your parking pass will not be accepted in Lot 33.  If you want to bring a motor home on game day be sure to pick a parking lot that allows motor home parking.  Make sure not to pick a “car only” lot.  You can pay $40.00 to park a motor home in Lot 33 on game day.

Q.     Can I use my parking pass to park in the ADA parking spaces located near the stadium?

A.     Yes, you may use your parking pass along with a handicap hangtag to park in the ADA spaces, as long as they are available, at no additional charge.  If you do not have your parking pass the charge is $20.00 to park in an ADA space.

Q.     I want to pick Lot 48, a car only lot, for this season.  However, on Homecoming I like to bring a motor home.  Can I park the motor home in that lot for one game?

A.     Since Lot 48 is a car only lot you will not be able to park a motor home in that lot.  If you would like to bring a motor home to a game make sure you pick a lot that allows oversized vehicles or for that one game when you bring the motor home you can pay $40 to park in Lot 33.

Q.     Will my donation to the I FUND provide parking benefits for both football and men’s basketball?

A.     Yes, your annual donation to the I FUND enables you to receive parking passes for both football and men’s basketball.

Q.     If I end up not liking the lot I picked this season will I be able to request a different lot?

A.     Yes, you will be able to choose a new lot for next season.  Parking will continue to be reassigned annually.  Prior to each new season, you will receive an “I Decide” form to let us know your parking preferences.  If you decide you don’t like the parking lot you are in this season, don’t worry, you have the option of requesting a change for next season.
