Atkins Tennis Center Junior Clinics

 

Pee Wees: A clinic for children ages 3 to 5.
Friday: 5:30 – 6:15 pm / $54 per session (6 classes)

Mighty Mites: Designed for children ages 6 to 8, this clinic begins to introduce stroke technique while keeping children engaged with fun and exciting drills.
Friday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm / $66 per session (6 classes)

USA 1-2-3: Children who participate in USA 1-2-3 clinics are new to the game and learning to rally. Run in conjunction with the USTA, this program focuses on basic fundamentals and stroke development for children age 8 and older.
Monday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm / $72 per session (6 classes)
Friday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm / $72 per session (6 classes)

USA 1-2-3 Teenagers: Similar to USA 1-2-3, this clinic is designed specifically for children ages 13 to 18 who are interested in learning the basics of tennis.
Thursday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm / $72 per session (6 classes)

Level II: Players in the Level II clinic can hit the ball over the net from the baseline but lack directional control. Children at this level have learned the fundamentals of groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, and the serve but need to improve consistency.
Monday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm / $72 per session (6 classes)
Wednesday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm / $72 per session (6 classes)

Level III: Participants in this clinic have shown improvement in all aspects of their game and can rally from the baseline with consistency. In addition, this player can play and keep score without supervision. However, this player needs fine tuning on the serve, volley, and overhead.
Tuesday: 4:00 – 5:30 pm / $96 per session (6 classes)
Thursday: 5:30 – 7:00 pm / $96 per session (6 classes)

Intermediate Training School (ITS): Players at this level have shown improved ability in all aspects of the game and have made a serious commitment to learning the fundamentals of tennis. This program is designed to help players prepare for ATS.
Tuesday: 4:00 – 5:30 pm / $96 per session (6 classes)
Thursday: 5:30 – 7:00 pm/ $96 per session (6 classes)

Advanced Training School (ATS): Players eligible for ATS must show excellent ability in all strokes and are ready to focus their training on match strategy, match play, and tournament competition.
Monday: 6:30 – 8:30 pm / 1 Day: $120 per session (6 classes)
Tuesday: 5:30 – 7:30 pm / 2 Days: $228 per session (12 classes)
Wednesday: 6:30 – 8:30 pm / 3 Days: $306 per session (18 classes)

Students eligible for admission to an NCAA institution or who have started their Senior year in High School may only participate in clinics to develop fundamental skills.
