Atkins Tennis Center to Host 2013 NCAA Men's & Women's Tennis Championships

The University of Illinois will host the NCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Championships for the first time in school history, May 16-27 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex at the Atkins Tennis Center. The first six days of competition (May 16-21) will include the Round of 16 and beyond of the team championships, while the final six days (May 22-27) will feature the men's and women's 64-player singles and 32-player doubles championships.
All-session and single-day tickets are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets by calling 866-Illini-1 or at FightingIllini.com by clicking here. Adult all-session tickets are $100, while youth (18 and under) all-session tickets are $75. Single-day tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for youth. Admission is free for children age two or younger. Groups of 10 or more can purchase single-day group tickets at $5 apiece by calling the Illinois Ticket Office at 866-Illini-1.

Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex
Atkins is the home of the University of Illinois women’s and men’s tennis teams and is located in Urbana, Illinois. This facility is open to the public and offers a variety of programs and events for tennis players and fans of all ages. Information on all programs and events held at Atkins are provided on this website. If you have specific questions, please call the tennis center at (217) 244-8562 .
The tennis center features six indoor and 20 lighted outdoor tennis courts. In addition, Atkins features public locker rooms for women and men which are open to all users of the tennis center. Atkins’ pro-shop, which is located inside the main entrance, features racquets, apparel, shoes, accessories, and stringing services for players of all ages and ability.The tennis center also holds offices for the Illinois coaches and with the addition of the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in the spring of 2009, came new first-class locker rooms and sports medicine and training areas.
Not only is Atkins the home of the Illinois teams, but it also plays host to a number of elite events. Since 1996, Atkins welcomes the world’s top professional players as they compete in the JSM Challenger. In June, Atkins hosts the Middle Illinois Junior Qualifier and the Marian Wood Baird Cup, two elite tournaments in the junior summer tournament schedule. Each July, Atkins also hosts the USTA Boys 18 National Team Championship. Throughout the summer, juniors and adults from around the Midwest travel to Champaign-Urbana to participate in one of the Fighting Illini Summer Tennis Camps.

Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.*
Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.*

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 9:00 pm*
Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm*
