Atkins Tennis Center Court Time
Both the indoor and outdoor courts at the Atkins Tennis Center are open for public use. All users of Atkins’ courts MUST CHECK IN AT THE FRONT DESK BEFORE ENTERING THE COURT. Players must wear proper court shoes with non-marking soles. RUNNING SHOES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE COURTS. If you have any questions, please call Atkins' front desk at (217) 244-8562.
Indoor and outdoor court times can be scheduled on the half hour and are limited to no more than one and a half hours. One individual may only reserve one court. When making a reservation, please provide a name and phone number to secure the reservation. If multiple courts are desired, another member of your group must make their own reservation and provide their name and phone number. Court reservations may be made up to seven days in advance. University of Illinois Team Court Time
The University of Illinois women’s and men’s tennis teams have all courts reserved from 1:30 - 5:30 pm and one court from 6:00 am - 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Any court not needed by the teams for the following day may be reserved after 6:00 pm. If the teams are using outdoor courts, indoor courts may be reserved on the understanding that the teams may practice indoors should it rain.
Also, women’s and men’s matches or visiting team practices may override normally scheduled activities. All participants affected by conflicts will be given as much advance notice as possible and will not be billed for that time. Thank you for your cooperation.
Rental of Facility
The Atkins Tennis Center is available on Saturday evening from 7:00 - 10:00 pm for private parties, tournaments, or other related events. The cost of renting the facility is $300 and includes exclusive use of the indoor courts, lounge area, and locker rooms. Rotations or tournament draws can be provided at no extra charge.
