Illinois Athletic Development

Compliance

As a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the University of Illinois is responsible for the actions of its "representatives of athletic interests." All members (both present and former) of the I FUND are defined as "representatives of athletic interests" by the NCAA.

The Division of Intercollegiate Athletics values the interest and support of I FUND members, but must remind all that an inappropriate action on the part of a member can jeopardize the eligibility of a prospect, student-athlete and/or the compliance of the University with Big Ten and NCAA regulations. All members are annually provided with "An NCAA Rules and Regulations Guide." In addition, members may visit www.fightingillini.com or contact the compliance office directly at 217.333.2009 with questions.

The University of Illinois appreciates it's alumni and friends (representatives of athletic interests) who strive for the highest level of ethical conduct while supporting the student-athlete's goals for both athletic and academic success.

I FUND members are expected to engage in conduct within all rules and guidelines of the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, the University of Illinois, the Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA. Members violating these guidelines as they relate to rules for student-athletes at the University of Illinois will have their membership revoked, their benefits cancelled, and their name removed from all mailing lists.
